Siblings of Disabled Individuals are Most at Risk of Emotional-Behaviorial Disorders.
“A disabled child in a family has a significant influence on the psychosocial development of healthy children.” (Caliendo et al., 2020).
The Global Prevalence of Persons with disabilities is increasing substantially.
“This increase is due to demographic and epidemiological changes in the population (such as aging and the global increase in chronic health conditions), and health emergencies (such as disease outbreaks, natural disasters, and conflicts).” (WHO, 2023)
