About Us
Founded in 2026, The Sibling Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to meeting the social, emotional, and material needs of persons with disabilities, their families, and the most vulnerable members of society. We work to address unmet social needs, reduce exclusion and inequality, and promote dignity, inclusion, and well-being through education, advocacy, community engagement, and direct support.
We place special emphasis on the sibling relationship because siblings often play some of the most meaningful and enduring roles in each other’s lives. They grow together, support one another through life’s challenges, celebrate each other’s successes, and, in many families, become lifelong advocates and caregivers. By fostering understanding, connection, and shared experiences, we seek to strengthen sibling bonds while supporting the well-being of the entire family.
The Sibling Foundation is committed to raising awareness of both the strengths and the challenges experienced by individuals with disabilities, their families, and other underserved populations. Through collaboration, education, and compassionate action, we strive to create more inclusive communities where every person has the opportunity to thrive with dignity, belonging, equitable access to resources, and the support they need to reach their fullest potential.
